Students learn the fundamental concepts of kinematics; dynamics; statics; work and energy; momentum; rotational motion; fluids, elasticity; wave motion; and thermodynamics.

Prerequisite(s): MATH 103 or MATH 110 (with a minimum grade of C) Concurrent with PHY 117 .
