BUS 190 Introduction to Business
3 CreditsThis course is designed for non-business majors as well as business majors to introduce students to the fundamental structures and functions of business organizations. The course provides a brief consideration of the varied aspects of business while presenting a working knowledge of the environment and function of business in society. An overview of information systems, government regulation, and career opportunities are presented followed by a survey of the accounting, marketing, personnel, production, management and finance functions and careers.
