Day of Service

In the Honors Program you are offered the opportunity…

  • to take advantage of priority registration
  • to enroll in seminar-style classes, usually of 12-16 students, with peers who share your motivation to excel academically
  • to participate in social, cultural, and service activities with other Honors Program students—both on and off campus
  • to join the Neumann University Honors Association, our student-run club
  • to use the honors seminar room not only for classes but also to study, meet with friends, and relax
  • to work in class and one-on-one with full-time faculty who are enthusiastic about learning—both theirs, and yours
  • to develop critical thinking, research, writing, and presentation skills—all of which are highly valued by employers and graduate school admissions offices
  • to present your research at local, regional and national conferences with students from other colleges and universities who share your passion for making a difference
  • to help organize and participate in our annual LEAD Conference (Learning, Exchanging, Achieving, Discussing)

When you complete the program, you receive:

  • Certificate of completion
  • Medallion, worn at the commencement ceremony
  • Listing in the commencement program
