Moreover, the Franciscan values changed the way I viewed the activities that I participate in. I got to serve with other fellow students, create relationship with them, and reach a desired goal with them.

How have Neumann’s Franciscan values impacted or guided you?:I feel I have unconsciously adopted some of the R.I.S.E.S. values into my life. Reverence means to have deep respect for someone or something. By watching upperclassmen nursing majors face their obstacles head-on, it instilled a light of respect for them in me. It's been a source of motivation that has constantly encouraged me to keep going. Next, integrity, which means that “we never misrepresent ourselves or our work in any way”. When I turn in assignments, I do them to my best ability because I want my professors to think highly of me. In addition, my actions here tie into “Excellence” as I try to always perform to the best of my ability, whether l think I will be successful or not.
What's one of your favorite memories of or experiences at Neumann?:One of my favorite experiences would definitely have to be working alongside of Neumann BSU and performing the Fashion Show.
