Citation Chasing: Finding what you need faster

Citation searching is searching for a particular article for which you have a citation but want the full text. This is more common among graduate students and faculty than undergraduate students. You have certainly read a great article and looked at the bibliography to find what articles the author used. When you go to look up those articles in the bibliography, you are citation searching.

You can search for specific articles that you have the citation information for using  Article Linker:

Once in Article Linker, you can start by searching by the title of journal

After you enter your journal title, you will see the options available, including what databases and date ranges are available. If you see nothing appear, we do not have the journal, and you can request the article through Interlibrary Loan .
